James has experience in a variety of light helicopters, performing commercial operations such as photography, traffic watch and sling load work as well as mountain flying. His passion and high knowledge level have earned him a place within SRT's elite group of instructors.

James' 'previous life' was involved with electronics and computer systems. This is something that he still maintains a healthy interest in, so his knowledge helps keep SRT at the cutting edge of the latest technologies.
